The Need for Profundity
In the 24 hours that this blog has existed, I have learned several things. The first observation I have made is that the blog inspires the need to be profound. This is probably due to the fact that you are coming here to read the blurbs of two people, and if what you're reading isn't profound you've wasted three minutes of your life. I am no longer one of a hundred or so people standing on the sidelines of your life holding out a bits of information to you like bystanders hold out water to a marathon runner, I alone stand on the stage to entertain and inform you. That is just a little bit scary.
